The exact cause of depression is unclear. Evidence continues to mount in support of multiple causations, recognizing the combined effects of genetic, biochemical, and psychosocial influences on an individual's susceptibility to depression.

What does depression looks like?
Depression is not just an ordinary sadness or crying.
It's a constant war against yourself, every thought is like a bullet penetrating directly in the heart.
Depression is when you hate everyone around when you don't feel like doing anything.
It's like you are drowning in the sea of sadness, hopelessness, guilt. It's like when all you want to do is cry and felt like you are dying inside.

Depression is when you put some sort of mask on your face; faking happiness, faking that you are 'OK', you don't want to share your feelings to others because of fear of being misunderstood and ridiculed but in reality, you are far from being 'OK' and the 'Happiness' it's like it's no longer exist in your life or it effaces from your life.

Depression is like even if you are surrounded by people you feel empty, sorrow, helpless.
It effaces all your joyful moments and memories, a light of hope leaving only the painful memories and thoughts leading your life to the darkness. It's like you are surrounded by a huge tornado of emotions. You feel weak all the time and you don't care what happens anymore.

Depression changes the notion of life. It makes us feel that your life is not worth living or is worthless and it's better to kill yourself than to live in this pain, leading to suicide. It requires courage to take your own life but it requires much more courage to keep fighting with your problems.

Facts about depression:
  • Depression always doesn't have a good reason. Sometimes the chemicals in your brain responsible for mood control may be out of balance causing you to feel bad even though everything in your life is going well.

Regular exercise helps to create a positive feeling and improve mood. Getting enough quality sleep and eating a healthy diet and avoiding alcohol can also help reduce symptoms.

Remember that depression is a real illness and there's nothing to be ashamed of, just for once stop pretending to be 'OK', let your emotions ventilate, cry for help if you want, remove the mask which is hiding your real pain. If it is difficult to share your problems with your families or even friends at least talk to the therapist. Stop pretending that your life is perfect. Don't be ashamed of your problems. You can be miserable, you can be a mess but you can also heal with time. You cannot erase your memories or past so learn from it and stop mourning.
Be happy for real this time.
So, Don't only dream your life; live you dream before it's too late and you will only regret the chances you didn't take.

                                                                       Thank You!!
